  • City and State
  • Mobile Number

If a User chooses to disclose personally identifiable information such as a mobile number in a public forum then the Privacy Policy does not apply to that information.

Information Collected Automatically

Passwd.org employs commonly-used information-gathering tools, such as cookies, log files and Web beacons, to collect information that is transmitted automatically from your computer when you use the Website. Examples of information collected are number of pages visited and most popular features.

Cookies and Log Files

Similar to other commercial websites, Passwd.org utilizes standard technologies called "cookies" and Web server log files to collect information about how our Website is used. As you visit and browse Passwd.org, cookies also allow us to store and quickly retrieve login information. For example, storing a cookie on your computer allows you to login without typing the registered e-mail address or password.

Cookies, in conjunction with our Web server's log files, allow us to calculate the aggregate number of people visiting our Website and which parts of the Website are most popular. Information gathered may include the date and time of visits, the pages viewed, Internet protocol (IP) addresses, and other data. Cookies and server log files help us gather feedback to constantly improve and better serve our Users. We may also use this information to analyze trends, detect fraud or other types of abuse, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. We may associate this information with your account information to resolve technical issues, support security for our Users, and take action on any activity that may violate this Privacy Policy or the Passwd.org Terms of Service.

Cookies do not collect personal information.

Web Beacons

Passwd.org uses Web beacons alone or in conjunction with cookies to compile information about User’s usage of the Website and interaction with emails from Passwd.org. A web beacon (also known as a clear gif) is a tiny graphic with a unique identifier that is placed on a web page or within an email. It is similar in function to a cookie, and is used to collect a limited set of information such as time and date of a page view, and a description of the page on which the web beacon resides.

Passwd.org may use web beacons to compile aggregate statistics about which promotions Users have seen and how Users responded to them. This information helps us better manage the Website by informing us about what content is effective. In addition, we may use web beacons in our promotional e-mail messages to count how many messages and which emails have been opened and acted upon. This allows us to gauge the effectiveness of certain communications and our marketing campaigns.

As mentioned above, the overall goal of our team is to enhance the User’s experience and make Passwd.org that much more enjoyable and fun.
